چکیده
Objective: The purpose of this study was to calculate the incidence in-stent restenosis in patients with DES and stent lengths higher than 30mm who presented a tertiary care hospital. Study Design: A Cross-sectional Place Duration: This cross-sectional conducted at Department Cardiology, Rashid Latif Medical College, Lahore duration from February, 2022 July, 2022. Methods: There were 83 coronary artery disease (CAD)were included. After obtaining written consent participants, researchers collected information about their participants' ages, sexes, body mass indexes, co-morbidities. Atherosclerosis risk variables baseline investigations an echocardiography for ejection fraction determination. Imaging studies reviewed by board-certified interventional cardiologists, found evidence ISR. Past angioplasty details recorded. Results: In our mean age cases 54.13±7.44 years BMI 25.2±13.87 kg/m2. Most common comorbidity diabetes 25 (30.1%) followed hypertension 23 (27.7%) dyslipidemia 20 (24.1%) cases. We that 40 (48.2%) smokers. Mean LDL cholesterol 68.6±1.97 mg/dl uric acid 6.2±2.35 mg/dl. Majority 45 (54.2%) had poor socio-economic status. frequency ISR among biomatrix 24 (28.9%), Xience 22 (26.5%) cases, Ultimaster 19 (22.9%) Xlimus 18 (21.7%) after angiograpghy. Our results showed stents longer associated In-Stent Restenosis (p=0.03). Conclusion: Based on findings study, we came conclusion previous diagnosis mellitus length are both significant factors developing restenosis. research, instances greater Keywords: CAD, Drug eluting (DES), Coronary angiography,

Overview of Intracoronary Brachytherapy for in-Stent Restenosis of a Drug-Eluting Stent
Percutaneous coronary intervention with stenting is considered recently as the most common procedure for the treatment of symptomatic coronary. The article reviewed 41 studies published during 1997-2019 on intracoronary brachytherapy for in-stent restenosis of a drug-eluting stent. Intracoronary radiation therapy was finally confirmed in the setting of in-stent restenosis using as adjunctive th...
متن کاملAssociation of G22A variant of Adenosine Deaminase gene with coronary in-stent restenosis in coronary artery patients receiving drug-eluting stent
In-stent restenosis (ISR) is regarded as the main problem in the utilization of stents in the treatment of coronary artery atherosclerotic stenosis in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). This study investigated the possible role of the G22A variant of the Adenosine Deaminase gene (ADA) in the development of ISR. In this study, 91 patients who underwent PCI were divided into two groups of ...

Introduction. Colonic obstruction is one of the manifestations of colon cancer for which self-expanding metal stents (SEMS) have been effectively used, to restore the luminal patency either for palliative care or as a bridge to resective surgery. The aim of our study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of large diameter SEMS in patients with malignant colorectal obstruction. Methods and Resu...
متن کاملRestenosis is not associated with stent length in a pig model of coronary stent implantation.
BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to determine if stent length is by itself a risk factor for intimal proliferation and restenosis. Long lesions represent an independent risk factor for restenosis after coronary stent implantation. A longer stented segment might result in a higher probability of restenosis. METHODS Twenty-two 7-month-old male farm pigs underwent implantation of two steel s...
